OMAP5948 GEL needed

I was so surprised about the 5948，

And finally，I found its totally not omap5 series 

Its based on omap1

We have this information for OMAP application processors (that is OMAP543x, OMAP44xx), OMAP5948 is not part of omap application processors. 

I will start looking for gel files for this device.

In the mean time could you please ask this question in the Code Composer Forum (http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81.aspx) as well? Folks there are more familiar with the repositories of these files for different devices.

BTW The OMAP5948 is DSP C55 + ARM-9 chip. It usually used in vehicle navigation.

What application are you developing? I can recommend chip according to your requirement.

I was not able to find an existing ready for use GEL files for this device. I contacted the sdo team and the recommendation is to create your own GEL file based on an existing one. 

As per this post: https://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/int-code_composer_studio/f/90/p/192374/750317.aspx#750317 OMAP5948 is a variant of the old device OMAP1610, and the necessary configuration files for OMAP1610 should be present in CCS v3.3.

This is an obsolete device, and it is no longer supported.

I couldn't find any documentation about it. The closest data sheets available are for OMAP5910 & OMAP5912:
