I just wanted to post because I have seen numerous questions out there on how to get an EV2300 working on Windows 10 even after installing the drivers and the 64 bit support files with no real solution other than to use an EV2400 and I spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting.
Our situation was very similar to other posts but they all have since been closed out so I could not reply to them so I thought I would post to hopefully help others in the future. Our situation was similar in that the EV2300 was working on a Windows 10 laptop for a long time and then all of sudden stopped working. We aren't sure why it stopped working, but basically when we plugged the EV2300 in it would show up in device manager as an unrecognized device. How I fixed this issue was I followed this link to temporarily disable Windows 10 Driver Verification by looking at part 3 top 1:
After you temporarily disable the verification, I then reinstalled the EV2300 drivers and the 64 bit support files again as an admin and then plugged the EV2300 back in and it then recognized the device. I launched a bq program and it connected without error. Hopefully this helps others as we were troubleshooting this for a long time and like others are still using numerous EV2300s throughout our facility.
TI feel free to close this out, wasn't a question but more a response to other questions that were never really resolved.
