Hi,
Good day.
Just a quick question, our customer would like to know if the LM2678 in NDZ package would work on a breadboard. Would it be possible? Thank you.
Regards,
Cedrick

yes, it should be work, but make sure the wire you connect to the inductor, the diode and IC can take 5A, and even in breadboard, you may also need take care of the layout (or component place ) guild line
Thanks
Hi Daniel,
I'm Danilo, a colleague of Cedrick. He is currently out of office. I would like to confirm if the 7-pin TO220 package of LM2678 would be able to fit in the breadboard because the customer would like to evaluate the device on a breadboard before she fabricate the PCB? Is it possible to insert 7-pins TO220 to a breadboard without breaking the pins? The load current is 0.23A max.
Regards,
Danilo
Hi
I more suggest you can apply EVM and do the test instead of bread board. or you can follow EVM board to place the component on your breadboard if you can't get the EVM board.
Thanks
