BQ76952EVM: Capture Balancing Waveforms

Hi TI - Experts,

I want to capture the balancing waveforms of the BQ76952EVM like it is shown in the application report  "Cell Balancing with BQ76952, BQ76942 Battery
Monitors".

My question is are there testpoints on the EVM where I can directly measure balancing ? 

If not, can I capture the balancing waveforms over one of the balancing resistors (R2 - R24) ?

    Hi Felix,

    This is hard to do on the EVM because there are no test points at the device VCx pins. I captured these signals on different hardware that included test points, external balancing circuitry, etc. If you can connect wires to the side of the R2-R24 resistors closest to the device, than it should be possible to capture these waveforms.

    Hi Matt, 

    thanks for your answer, thats what I thought.  I will try it with soldering some wires to R2 and differential probe measurement.

    I think for the groundconnection any ground testpoint (TP14, TP15, TP16, TP17) should work, am I right ?
