BQ76952: Unable to communicate with IC for OTP programming

Part Number: BQ76952

Dear TI Team,

I have been trying to program the OTP memory with just 12V applied at the BAT pin and ground being connected, but have been unable to initiate the communication with the IC. However it works, if I attach the 200 ohm cell simulation resistors between all VC pin as per the schematic in the EVM. On the programming and assembly line, for efficient and fast processing; just applying 12V at the BAT pin should be enough and there should be no need to supply voltages at VC pins through cell simulation resistors.

Please help me with a solution.

Thanks and Regards
