IC 501 Schematic

• R505 should be 9.09k for 12Vout starting point
• Rt of 51kΩ results in a switching frequency roughly 300kHz
• Is there a need for that much output capacitance? For adjustable output voltage, design circuit for lowest output voltage setting. For 9V, having 4 x 47uF should be enough.
• Input filter can be changed to datasheet recommendation for 400kHz (Figure 9-15).
• Why does this circuit input voltage rail need that many capacitors? 

IC 504 Schematic

• R614 should be 24.9k for 5Vout starting point
• Input filter can be changed to datasheet recommendation for 400kHz (Figure 9-15), Same recommendation as above since circuit is operating around 300kHz.

IC 1701 Schematic

• Input filter can be changed to datasheet recommendation for 400kHz (Figure 9-15), Same recommendation as above since circuit is operating around 300kHz.
• Everything else looks okay
