Hello. We are looking to build a BMS platform which supports 48V to 800V BUS architecture . BQ79616 looks like a good candidate. But we had a specific requirement on external Passive cell balancing. Does the chip support external Passive balancing? I am unable to find this in the documents. Please confirm.

The BQ79616 supports internal and external passive cell balancing.

Hello Viktor

What i meant by External Balancing is external Mosfet and Resistor. Have gone through the datasheet but couldn't find the provision. Can you guide which page or share screenshot of this?
