I am looking for a TI device with similar performance/functionality to the MAX8586 Single 1.2A USB Switch with programmable current limit in 3mm x 3mm TDFN

The TPS2051B appears to be a device with similar performance and functionality, however, there was also a thread here that referenced the TPS25944 as a potential replacement as well, although this thread is quite dated.
Is the TPS25944 still the recommended device with closest functionality or would the TPS2051B or a similar device be a better fit?
