TPS54200: remove flickering in pwm < 20%

Hi,

I use the TPS54200 in analog dimming mode (3v3 50Khz on PWM).

I have flickering in low level PWM <20%. Did you have idea about FB pin or other stuf cause flickering ?

My board was IMS PCB (or MCPB) , so theres only 1side cooper and all SMD.

Hi Mederic,

It's not recommended to apply such high frequency PWM to TPS54200. Generally, <10kHz is proper.

Hi Robin,

The datasheet recommand pwm 3V3 50KHz in analog dimming mode. where do you find <10KHz ?

The issue was solved. the input pwm signal integrity was the problem. the input PWM pass trough a 74HC4052 and the flickering was removed when i remove the 74HC4052
