LM51561 seems to have some interesting features regarding Dual Random Spread Spectrum and external sync.

However I noticed that if external sync signal is fed, the feature will be disabled. Therefore I have following questions.

1. Can multiple LM51561-Q1 running  in parallel with dual random spread spectrum enabled? Any potential risks?

2. Can LM51561-Q1 accept external clock with jitters or variable frequency clock?

    Hello Hua,

    1. Multiple LM51561 can run in parallel with DRSS enabled. They will not operate at the same frequency and you might observe some increase in the low frequencies that you use for DRSS.

    2. Yes, it can accept external clock with jitter.
