TPS63011: VINA1, PS, EN and VSEL connections

Hello Guys,

Good day.

For the fixed output voltage TPS63011, how must VINA1 be connected?

Also, need clarification on how to connect PS, EN and VSEL. Should they be connected to supply voltage?

Customer have the following requirements and is getting confuse on how to connect these pins in fixed version (TPS63011).

PS - Not require power saving mode

VSEL - Require 3.3v fixed output voltage

EN - Require continuously enabled

Hi Mecina,

VINA1 is connected to GND with a capacitor to improve the stability of the solution.

Pin PS VSEL EN should be connected to VINA/VINA1 PIN directly in this application.

Please show me the input voltage. Disconnect VIN to VINA is better for stability

Hello Tao,

As per the customer, Battery voltage will be 3.7volt typical at input of buck-boost converter. It's a rechargeable battery which will go up to 4.2Volt during charging process and will be drain up to 3volt maximum in application mode.

As you mentioned disconnecting VINA from VIN, kindly clear where should the VINA pin be connected instead of VIN?

In your schematic:

Figure24 is for adjustable version. Customer is using the fixed version. Can he follow the same connection as the adjustable one?
