TPS7H1101A-SP: Output Trys to Turn on When Enable Is LOW

Part Number: TPS7H1101A-SP

When enable pin is HIGH, Vout = 3.3V which matches our design, everything is good. However, when we force enable pin to ground, after we turn on the power Vin = 5V, we get Vout = 2.1V. We have CS pin has been pull HIGH to 5V through 110K ohm, is this the reason why Vout trys to turn on when enable is LOW?

Kang,

This is not correct behavior.

Can you provide schematic? Is there a load on Vout when disabled? Any other active bias paths that could bring Vout up?

Do you have any additional data that you can provide?

If the schematic is IP and cannot be published, you can work with your FAE to provide it outside of the public forum under NDA.

Hi Wade,

I think the problem has been solved, it was due to FPGA JTAG tried to turn on VCCO plane before we turn on the voltage regulator.
