Hi

The customer design with BQ4050, they test the OCD1,OCD2 and find the delay time is not correct.

OCD1 set 10.5A delay 2s, the actual delay time is 4s;

OCD2set 11.5A delay 1s, the actual delay time is 3s;

how to solve this problem?

    Hello Star,

    The OCD1,2 are both firmware based protections, the registers are updated every second. The ADC for coulomb counting is summing so it may take multiple updates for the firmware to take affect. You would need to use the hardware protections for faster response.
