I have designed a new prototype using LM5122.
The power section has an input 5-24V and an output of 24V 0.5A. The prototype has been verified and it seems to work... there is only an issue... when we use 5V as input it seems to request from the external supply huge current surge (we set current limit to 1.4A)... if we set current to 500mA the LM5122 has an output lower than 24V (about 12V). We want to use as input also the USB and this can be a problem. I used WEBENCH for the design.
Is there something wrong? Can you help me to understand?
