TPS7A02: Discharge function at power up

Hi,

The part offers a discharge function for the P-version.

It is activated if the EN is low or the device is in UVLO.

If we look at figure 50 in the datasheet and assume for now the VEN = VIN = 10ms ramp time, will the discharge be activated at any time during the ramp up of VIN/VEN ?  for few ms only ?

    Hi Luc, 

    The discharge function is only when VEN less than VEN(low). Although 10ms is very slow rampup, you would not see the discharge. Since VEN=VIN you would ramp them at the same time and turn on the device as soon as you meet the requirements.
