LM5022: Power supply for PoE-PSE

Hello everyone,

We are going to design a carrier board have 4 port GbE with PoE-PSE (all ports support 802.3 bt 30W out)，the input power is 9~36V DC,the PSE Controller is TPS23861PWR,i have reference the PMP20588 but it has only one port up to 54V 600mA,is there any other power ic that is more suitable for my application？

Hi Eric,

Thank you for reaching out. This amounts up to 120W total, and you can consider the LM5155/56 which have stronger driver than the LM5022, and also have a more efficient current sense. You may refer to the following ref designs which support 300W in dual phases. For your 120W application, single phase can do it.
