BQ27426: System side gauge on battery side

Hello! 

What is expected performance of a system side gauge when used on the battery side? We are looking at the BQ27426 as an example. 

Will this result in less accuracy? 

Are there any major differences?

    Hi JDJ,

    For our devices, system side usually implies that the gauge can be used with different types of batteries and relearn everything when the batteries is swapped out. Pack side is used in applications where there is only one battery that is not changed out. You would get better performance using a pack side gauge if you are using it with a pack side application.
