Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS51200-EP, TPS51200, TPS51200-Q1
Hi team, what is the difference between TPS51200A-Q1 vs. TPS51200-EP? I believe the -EP is the same as the non-A version of the TPS51200A.
Thanks.

Hi Kannan,
TPS51200A-Q1 is the automotive grade device, while TPS51200-EP is the military grade device with extended temperature range. Hopefully this answers your question.

Weidong,
Thanks.
Why is there an A at the end of the Q1 version? Is this electrically different?
The catalog version (which the -EP is made from) is TPS51200, https://www.ti.com/product/TPS51200
Hi Kannan,
TPS51200-Q1 and TPS51200A-Q1 are two different part numbers. They are electrically the same, but the TPS51200A-Q1 has added polyimide layer to improve reliability.
And you are right that TPS51200-EP is derived from TPS51200.

Weidong
