BQ25710: trigger IDPM in PTM

Hi All,

May I know when BQ25710 is in PTM mode.

If the IDPM is trigger, will it switch back to PWM mode?

I'm not sure whether IDPM is one of the Fault condition.

    Hi Wang,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I did some testing on the EVM. The power stage will switch if you limit the input (IINDPM) while keeping the load the same. The supply will provide the amount of power it can to the system load with the rest coming from the battery.

    If you have no load on system but initiate charge in PTM mode, power stage will switch as well.

    We have the EVM for evaluation if you or your customer is interested.
