BQ25792: Chip Consultation

Hi Team,

I want to find a charger chip can support PD(Buck-Boost) plan. The charger needs to be PD fast charging to battery(7.4V@4900mAh). What's more, it should support charging with both 5V and 12V adapter. BQ25792 may can meet the requirements. What others are suitable for this case?

    Dear Gust,

    If you would like to use a charge controller, the BQ25730 and BQ25731 are also viable options (BQ25730 has power path and BQ25731 doesn't). If you want to use the BQ25792 I would recommend looking at the reference design USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01 which combines the PD controller and the battery charger.
