Hello E2E,
Good day.
Is the switch current and output current both 20A for LM25122-Q1? I have checked the datasheet but was not able to find these values for the said parameters.
Thank you for the help.
Regards,
Carlo

Hello Carlo,
May I know where is this information? Please share the link if possible. Over 20A current for switch or output is not recommended for single phase boost design. However, with the multiphase capability of LM25122, higher current can be achieved. LM25122 is a controller so it does not put this recommendation in its datasheet.
Thanks,

Hello Yinsong,
Here is the link: https://www.ti.com/power-management/non-isolated-dc-dc-switching-regulators/step-up-boost/products.html
Do we have a sample multiphase configuration using this part? Our customer would like to achieve 25A.

Carlo
Hi Carlo,
Sure. Please check this reference design. https://www.ti.com/tool/PMP7969
I think it shows that recommended spec because it's together with the converter. It seems to disable this information when going into the controller section. https://www.ti.com/power-management/non-isolated-dc-dc-switching-regulators/step-up-boost/boost-controllers-external-switch/products.html
Thanks,
