Hi team,

My customer are looking for WDOG IC for their project. Their application are as below.

I have found TPS3851 but the time out cannot achieve higher than 3min. Could you kindly guide suitable solution? Thanks.

Don’t need enable pin
Time out window > 3min

Hi Feng,

The watchdog timers that we offer in the VRS group are mainly for microprocessors and microcontrollers. The TPS3851 is a watchdog IC that has the longest timeout window we offer at the moment. Unfortunately, we do not seem to have a watchdog IC that can meet a timeout time of > than 3min. Maybe the use of the LM555:

can meet the customer's need for a long timeout window.
