LMZM33606: Availability??

Part Number: LMZM33606

I'm sure this isn't the place for the question so my apologies but power supply availability across the board has been really tricky these days. Does anyone have any knowledge of the above part being available to the public beyond the automotive industry?.....It is pretty much the only part I have found that will be able to supply 12V out at 6A with a max input voltage of 30V.....

Hi Jimmy..

Thank you for your response. Do you have a feel for how realistically you think that date is? The date works at my end but I would hate to design it in only to have things push out to Q3 / Q4....From this end we would be looking at small quantities (500 pc most likely)

Hi Steve,

Honestly I am not intimately involved with the manufacturing and sourcing of this device so I can't say.

I am sure you are aware of the semiconductor manufacturing delays as a result of the interesting times we are currently in.

I would air on the side of caution and set Q3 as a potential date with mid July being the earliest as of today. This was the latest correspondence I had with the internal team.

I was able to get an update that TI can expect 1500 units on TI store sometime in July 11th.

Hi Jimmy,

Thanks this does help....Is the grief behind this a high volume product that auto manufacturers are using? 1500 is better than none but I gotta believe they will hit the shelf and be gone in a day

Hi Steve,

These power modules are mostly used in industrial applications but can be used in auto manufacturers as well. As such I would suggest also planning on using alternative devices such as converters and controllers due to the manufacturing constraints that all semiconductor companies are currently experiencing.
