BQ25713: OTG application

Hi Team,

When TypeC port is a source application, we can use charger's OTG to provide 5V or other converter.

But, does it will have any side effect if the 5V converter power to typeC and charger enable OTG function at the same time?

    Hi Hardy,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    If OTG is enabled while the buck is generating the 5 V on VBUS, the charger would not switch for OTG functionality.

    (page 25 of datasheet)

    If it is a PD application (VBUS > 5 V), then I would suggest to have only the BQ25713 as the main Type C PD source.
