ULN2003A: About unused terminals

Hi All,

Please tell me about the case where the input / output terminals of ULN2003A are unused terminals.
If it is an input terminal, do you connect it to VDD and GND? Or is it a pull-up or pull-down?
Do you connect to VDD and GND for the output terminal as well? Or is it a pull-up or pull-down?

    Ishiwata-san,

    There is no internal pull up or pull down for the input or the output. To avoid any floating nodes, we recommend connecting the input to GND. It is optional but you can also connect the output to GND if the input is connected to GND. Both can be done directly or with a 1k pulldown.
