BQ76920: Evaluating the monitoring aspect without EVM

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customer is looking to evaluate the monitoring aspect of the BQ76920 regardless of temperature and FET control for now. With this in mind do you think maybe the EV2400 and the evaluation software are enough, no need for the EVM? Also can you please confirm that the BQ76920 evaluation software is also compatible with Windows 10?

Hi Art,

If they have their own board with the BQ76920, then you should only need the EV2400 and evaluation software to work with the device. The evaluation software is compatible with Windows 10.

Hi Matt, on this board you would need to have an external controller as the host for the bq, correct? Do you happen to have any recommendations for that?

Hi Luis,

The EV2400 would be the controller in this case.
