TPS62860: How to sequence power supplies with power good if power good doesn't work until part is enabled?

Part Number: TPS62860

Hi,

I have a design where I want to control turning on the TPS628601 with its enable signal.  Then after the TPS628601 output voltage is up and running, I want to use it's power good signal to enable another power supply so that its output voltage turns on after TPS628601.

The problem I have is according to the TPS628601 DS, the power good signal will be high initially until the part is first enabled.  Since both of these power supplies run off of the same input voltage (and it is up before the enable to the TPS628601 is asserted) this will cause my second power supply to immediately turn on.  Thus defeating the power sequencing.

Is there a workaround for this behavior?  The DS claims power good can be used specifically for power sequencing like what I want to do.  But with this initial behavior of the power good signal I do not see how that is possible

Regards,

Matt
