BQ25720: BQ25720 135W application component suggestion

Hi Team,

My customer’s application will use 135W adapter. And I checked our typically application is 65W design.

If customer would like to use BQ25720 at 135W application, could you please provide suggestions for MOSFETs selection and inductor?

Except low Rdson for MOSFET and low DC resistance for inductor, could you provide TI sample materials for our reference?

Also, customer's concern is about limited size and thermal. If you have any other comments, please let me know. Thank you.

    Hi, Hardy,

    You select the right part. BQ25720 boosts the gate drive capability and improves the system efficiency. It is very good for 135W applications. Suggest low-Rdson 5mm x 6mm MOSFETs, and low-DCR inductor with enough saturation current. TI has done and continues to support customers with many reference designs. Please send your detailed project information to the factory.

    The project is still in RFI stage. they are surveying charger solution now. So, do we have 135W reference design schematic? If yes, it will be helpful to customer and us.
