LM5064: Issue with LM5064

Part Number: LM5064

We are using   LM5064 device in one of our design to manage the power. But it seems that its Pgood is withdrawn from the device and upon checking in detail, it is found that Vdd supply (generated from device) is not coming. Power input source is stable. Please help us to resolve the issue on an urgent basis.

As per the datasheet 30mA can be drawn from VDD and as per our schematic design we are taking 15mA ,assuming 54V input the dissipation will 0.75W. This is same happening in all PCBs and current drawn from the VDD n limit. Will this effect the functionality of the device.

Sir, we are again facing the same problem after implementing it, please suggest as soon as possible.

(1) Yes, you can pull-up PGOOD to 48V with a pull-up resistor. Use pull-up resistor in the range 47kOhm to 100kOhm

(2) I suggest to keep load on VDD under 5mA

Best Regards,

Rakesh
