Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS3890,
I have a question is about component TPS389050GQDSERQ1. We have the following datasheet for it:
tps3890-q1-Feb_2018.pdf (SBVS303B –MARCH 2017–REVISED FEBRUARY 2018).
Additionally, we have this similar component in or database TPS389033DSER with datasheet tps3890.pdf (SLVSD65A –MARCH 2016–REVISED MAY 2016). This is the 2016 version, and there exists a more current one.
The current datasheet for TPS389033DSER has the same footprint recomendation as for TPS389050GQDSERQ1.
However, the 2016 version of the datasheet for TPS389033DSER has a different footprint recomendatio, which we are already using in our database.
Te question is if there is anything agains using the older footprint recomendation for both components? (page 24 of TPS3890.pdf SLVSD65A –MARCH 2016–REVISED MAY 2016)
