LP3990: 3.3 PSPICE model

Genius 9880 points
Part Number: LP3990

Hi Team,

Customer is looking for the 3.3V LP3990 PSPICE simulation.

Looking in the product folder, there is no specified pspice for 3.3V. Is there a reason about this?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Maynard

  • Hi Maynard,

It's likely that this voltage option did not exist when the original models were made.  The gain of the internal amplifier changes with a new setpoint.  So you can update an unencrypted model, such as the 1.2V unencrypted model, for 3.3V.  Change R_R3 to be 80k and leave R_R4 alone.

    Thanks,
