TPS92200: Need to review schematic

Hello Expert,

Below is our customer's schematic and condition.

Could you please review and feedback?

In my concern, they are using 4x LEDs in parallel.

So I think that there is current tolerance through each LED.

What is your opinion? Can we ignore this current tolerance?

* Condition

-. Vin : 5V

-. Output current : 1A

-. Vf : typ. 2.9V / max. 3.4V

Hi Michael,

Just as your concern, the current of each LED may be a little different. The high voltage must be higher than 1.4V and I find the resistor divider consists of 200Ohm and 104Ohm, so please make sure the PWM voltage is high enough. Another thing is that the power rate of sense resistor should be at least 0.1W.

Thanks for your quick response and got it.

About resistor for PWM, 104ohm is 100Kohm. so there is no problem.
