BQ76930: Implementation inquiry for 20S configuration with 2 BQs.

I have two questions.
By referring to "TIDA-01093", two BQ76930s are connected to control 20S.
However, there is no software reference on how to control two BQ76930s.

1. Is there any reference software for controlling 2 BQ76930?
2. Is the difference between I2C and SMBus only a difference in physical specifications?
From my point of view, the two protocols are identical.
Am I thinking wrong?

Controlling 2 BQ76930s should be similar to controlling a single device, but with each device on its own I2C address. Software for communicating with a single device depends on your host controller. SLVA626B for instance describes how one could do it with the MSP430G2553.

As for your second question, there are also differences between the two concerning the protocol for block reads and writes. See SLOA132 for more details.
