TPS63810: Will the converter work without connecting the I2C

       I2C pins should be connected always to set the output voltage.  State of VSEL pin only selects which VOUT register is active. VSEL pin can be connected to GND and VIN in your application.

       For a stable output needed only， I think you can try another solution which is much cheaper throw WEBENCH Power Designer.

I tried WEBENCH but most of the solutions it gave me were with the TPS63810 or other converters with higher Iq.

The datasheet includes the following table, which makes me think it's possible to operate it via VSEL only and no need for I2C.

      Could you show me input voltage  output current and Iq you need, I hope I can help to choose a suitable solution for you.

      For the output voltage control, I think you can take chapter 8.3.9 of datasheet as reference.

Vin: 2.2-4.2V

Iout: 0.6A max current

Iq: as small as possible, since we are operating on primary cells.

There were a few options that could work based on these requirements like TPS63805 which doesn't have I2C, but they were out of stock, so in the end had to choose TPS63810
