BQ27Z561: BQ27Z561 application question

Part Number: BQ27Z561

Hi team,

When the BQ27Z561 is in the battery pack side, the sampling resistance is 1 milliohm in the battery pack.

1. Can the SRP and SRN pins of the two CP chargers not be used for current sampling?
2. When not in use, should the SRP and SRN of CP charger1 and charger2 be grounded?

3. Can the bq27z561's I2C be used together with the PMIC I2C?

  • Hello Dane,

What documents are you referencing with charger1, charger2, CP1, CP2? The I2C lines can be shared with other devices as long as they all have different addresses and the bus doesn't have too much capacitance.

The SRN and SRP pins do not need to be grounded when idle.

    Sincerely,

    Wyatt Keller
