LMQ62440-Q1: Fixed Version Feedback Pin

Part Number: LMQ62440-Q1

We are planning on using the 5V and 3.3V fixed output version. I am assuming this connects directly to the output net after the inductor but I found no mention of it in the datasheet. Also, do you recommend putting a filter capacitor? If so, what value? Thanks!

Hi Scott,

For fixed output variants, the FB pin must be directly routed to the output of the device.

When you say filter cap, are you referring to the feedforward cap across the top feedback resistor? If that is the case, I don't think you would need a Cff for fixed output variant.
