Hi team,

I have a question about frequency selection issue of TPS51397A. I want to know what different that I choose 500KHz or 800KHz in application.

    Hi Benson,

    It depends on your application. Higher switching frequency can use smaller inductor so that size is small and cost is a little lower. But higher Fsw will induce higher switching loss so that efficiency will be low under same conditions. There should be trade off.
