For Z1 selecting, From page 3. Typically Z1 should have a zener voltage approximately 2V to 5V above the desired clamping voltage at VOUT.

For customer' spec Vo=19V, whether select 24V(19V+5V) is ok?

For customer's spec Vin=19V, what value of VGATE will be after charge bump?
Whether the voltage of GATE wil larger than voltage of zener, then cause by zener turn on?

Yes Denny.

Vgate = Vin + 12V = 31V. so Zener min breakdown voltage should be > 31V

What is your target clamping voltage of the output?
