BQ25713: BQ25713 low power mode

Hi,

     I'm trying to show BQ25713 lowr power feature to my customer. but I can't get the same result as datasheet show. 

I test on BQ25713EVM and powered with one 18650 battery, then I use a ammeter to measure the draw current from battery. 

according to the datasheet, I just set VREG0x01[7] = 1, no other modificaiton, the ammeter show 1.85mA, which is far beyond typical 22uA. 

I'm not sure if I did this test right? please kindly suggest how to get a close data as datasheet show.  thanks.

    Hi Tang,

    I disconnected JP8 on the EVM and supplied external 3.3 V. The 3.3 V supplies some other circuitries on the EVM that is not part of the charger design.

    Afterward I measured the quiescent current to be in the ~20 uA to 30 uA range with VBAT = 16V.
