TPS3803-Q1: Is the same die using Q1 and EP?

My customer is thinking of replacing to -EP from -Q1 due to delivery issues.

Is TPS3803-01-EP made using the same die as the TPS3803-01-Q1?

No. TPS3803-01-EP and TPS3803-01-Q1 have different die and test flow.

Hi Kengo-san,

The TPS3803-01-EP has a wider operating temp range than the -Q1.

-EP = -55C to 125C

-Q1 = -40C to 125C

Also, -Q1 is for automotive applications where automotive qualified parts undergo qualification per the AEC Q100 specification.
