TLVM13630: About derive of Cout

Good day!

This is Filipe Satake, FAA from TI Japan. NCG since June, 2021.

I have a question about Cout.

I wanted to know how I can derive Cout on this IC to keep Vout max deviation of 3% after start-up.

I do not want to vary the value of Cout, and deduce the proper value for that condition.

Is there any formula or equation that I can use not just on this IC, but for others power management IC?

Hi Filipe,

I would recommend to get an EVM and test you application conditions.

Many factors affect your transient response including load step, slew rate, inductor value, internal compensation, and capacitor type.

There are many videos and papers available online for this topic.
