TPS65287: What are Vout Min and Max for this device?

Hi experts

My customer has an application to generate an adjustable voltage from close to 0V up to 12V.

1) What are the min and max Vout that can be configured with this device?

2) Is it possible to make the output voltage adjustable with a DAC or adjustable resistor in the feedback path?

Hi Jim

1) The minimum Vout is limited by the voltage reference, so I think the customer cannot generate Vout below 0.8V, the maximum Vout is limited by the max duty cycle, and here 12V can be generated.

2) I think the output voltage can be adjustable with an adjustable bias vlotage to feedback pin.

Hi Jim

One thing to confirm, what is the input voltage of this application? This part cannot be used with 100% duty cycle. If the highside MOSFET is turned on all the time, the boot cap voltage will be discharged and then turn off the highside switch.

Hi Ruby

The input voltage is somewhat flexible. I think it could be 15V or higher if needed, depending on the duty cycle requirements.
