BQ25170: Connecting PG pin to an external MCU GPIO

Hi

We are designing a project using BQ25170DSGR part as below.

Would like to know if the PG [ Power Good] pin of above part, can be connected to a GPIO of a microcontroller like below. [PG pin is pulled to VDD or pullup of the GPIO to VDDS and connected to the MCU]
