TPS22810: Alternative IC with rising edge property

Hi,

I am looking for a part similar to the TPS22810 but with its ENABLE activation / deactivation at each rising edge using a momentary switch on the front panel.
This alternative circuit should also have a second enable pin acting as a master reset also with a rising edge property.

My end goal is to kill the device with the uC without using the front panel switch.

Anything in mind ?

Hi User,

We do not have a device that works like this. You may be able to build a system that uses some sort of latch device on the EN pin that holds a value after initial activation. The master reset circuit could be an NFET that pulls EN to GND when activated so that no matter the external inputs through the latch, the NFET will hold EN=0V. We do not have a device that combines all these features.

Do you have a similar device without the rising edge property but with 2 pins for enabling (standard enable + master enable) ?

Hi User,

Not exactly, we do have devices that have one enable pin and one reference pin that can be used to externally trigger a fault/shutdown condition. A good example of this is TPS22953 and TPS22954. https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps22953.pdf

The SNS pin on these device can be externally controlled to simulate a fault that shuts down the device.
