Any recommendations for a Power System Manager for single channel?

HI all,

Would like some part advice. I needed to be able to control and monitor the output voltage and current of a buck converter.

Analog Devices has such a part in LTC2971. However this is for two channels. Does TI has similar part but with a single channel?

The LTC2971 basically controls the Buck regulator voltage output through adjusting the sinking/sourcing current that connects to the feedback pin of the buck converter.

It is able to monitor the buck converter output current. As such, the LTC2971 would have it's internal ADC and DAC for such purposes.

It will also have I2C communication lines where we could write the output voltage needed with the maximum current limit dynamically. Through the I2C, we could also read back the sensed current and be able to disable the buck converter should the current exceeded the desired limit.

Below is the link for the LTC2971.

Thank you.
