BQ76952: Import GG to chip

Hi,

Could you let me know how it import external GG to chip?

process

1. check mfg status init --> 0x40

2. modify it to 0x50

3. export it

4. import it and write all

5. check mfg status init --> 0x50

6. reset or power off and on

7. mfg status init value is returned to 0x40

When OTPW_EN=1, there is same symptom.

Hi David,

The registers for the BQ76952 are contained in RAM. So when you cycle power, the registers will reset to the default values like you are observing.

The only way to change the default power-up values is to program the OTP. The EVM User Guide has instructions for how to program the OTP.
