TPS51116: S3, S5 pins connection

Hi!

I'm using TPS51116 in my design for DDR4 power supply.

Can I connect S3,S5 pins just to PGOOD output of another DC/DC converter? I mean our SoC (LS1028A) doesn't have special outputs for managing S3,S5 inputs of TPS51116 for sleep mode.

    Hi Sergej,

    As long as the below behavior works for your system then it's ok to connect S3/D5 to PGOOD output of another DC/DC converter:

    1. When both S3 and S5 are high, VDDQ/VTT/VTTREF outputs are high

    2. When both S3 and S5 are low, VDDQ/VTT/VTTREF outputs are low.
