TPS54519: TPS54519: Consequences of connecting COMP pin to ground

Part Number: TPS54519

Hi,

We have run into an issue where a non-TI produced component is out-of-stock and the PCB has been already designed. I am looking for pin-to-pin compatible alternative component and the TPS54519 seems like a good one, however, if we use it, all pins are OK, but the COMP pin would be shorted to ground. How would that affect the function of the converter?  Would it cease functioning completely or should I expect limited functionality?

From what I understand from the datasheet, the PWM switching would not know when to turn on/off, if COMP pin is shorted to GND.

The DC/DC converter would need to work with these requirements:

Vin=5V, Vout= 3.3/2.5/1.8/1 V, Iout=1A(Max)

Thanks.
