I want to know the Status of RoHS & IEC62474DB for TPS82130SILT.

Is the ELV of this device 8 (g) (i) or 8 (g) (ii)?

    Hi Koichi,

    Young already replied in previous post. You can refer to page 24 of TPS82130 datasheet for RoHS  status.

    I am not familiar with ELV? Is it end of life vehicle? What is 8(g)(i) and 8(g)(ii)?

    Hi Nancy,

    In the datasheet, there is a status of "Eco Plan" as "RoHS (In Work) & Green".

    So I want to know the contents of this "In Work". 8 (g) (i) and 8 (g) (ii) are described in this document.

    Hi Koichi,

    Here is the feedback from the team.

    1. For status of RoHS(in work), A minor piece of data is missing for both the primary and secondary PCB suppliers. There is no doubt that TPS82130 is compliant to RoHS and ELV without any need to claim exemptions.  We just have not received the minimum required information to document our position so we leave the posted status as in complete or in work.

    2. For ELV 8(g)(i) and 8g(qii), ELV 8(g)(i) and 8(g)(ii) exemptions are equivalent to RoHS 15 and 15(a) exceptions for Pb content. But since the concentration of Pb is bellow 1000ppm at the homogeneous material level in this product, there is no need to discuss any exemptions for EVL or RoHS.
