Low ripple Boost converter

Dear *,

we are looking for a boost converter IC with low output voltage ripple , lower than 10mV RMS.

The peak current load is 1A/50ns ( OPAMP LM7332 is supplied with the boost output voltage , and the output of the OPAMP is connected to the load ). ( This is used for BIAS voltage)

Vin : 3.2V to 3.4V

Vout : 3.6V

would you recommend one of the two following devices:

TPS61023
TPS61022

Hi David,

I would suggest TPS61022 and set the device to forced PWM operation to achieve small output ripple

Hi Jasper,

thank you for the replay, do you mind to check our schematic? Would you suggest to use low ESR tantalum/polymer capacitor of 100uF on the input?

Hi David,

it looks OK. I would suggest add one more capacitor in the VOUT to GND pin as backup. depending on real behavior to solder this cap or not.

the layout is also very critical. please follow the suggestion in the datasheet.
